Yesterday

was my first "free day". I ate well at first, but went a little crazy toward evening. I realize taht I really need to journal what I eat. I keep mental track but that is just not good enough.

Also, I allowed myself to have soda and it was weird. I drank less than half the glass during the meal and threw it away (I would not allow myself to take it with me). First, it was Diet Pepsi, which tastes like cleaning fluid anyway. But it was just not as refreshing as usual. Maybe because I know how hard it was to give up. I can see that i will not give up TOTALLY (had it been Diet Coke I am sure I would have finished it ha ha) but limiting to once a week is a good thing.

I am also to the point where my walking is better. Now, mind you, I still go only a mile and I am "up to" 2.7 mph. But that has allowed me to shave 5 minutes of my first ghastly time. I am recording my times and need to find a way to post them here.

Thus, I added a calendar. I am going to have to see what it does, how easy, etc. but the link is there when I have the time and desire to fiddle with it.
